How bulk screening works

Stop reading resumes one by one. Score them all against the same bar in seconds, then spend your time on the shortlist.

1. Upload the batch

Drop in every resume for the role at once. Paste the full job description you're hiring for.

2. Score everyone equally

Each resume is parsed and scored against the same JD on skills, experience fit, and keywords.

3. Get a ranked shortlist

Candidates are ranked best-fit first, each with strengths and gaps so you know who to interview.

Screen faster without losing the human call

Manually reading dozens of resumes is slow, inconsistent, and easy to get wrong, the tenth resume never gets the attention the first one did. Bulk screening scores every candidate against the same job on the same criteria, so nobody is overlooked because of fatigue or formatting.

Because Rankid's engine is explainable, you keep the final decision. Every rank comes with the matched skills, the missing requirements, and the experience reasoning. See how the underlying scoring works in our guide to AI resume screening.

  • Score every candidate against the same bar, consistently
  • Surface the strongest matches first with a ranked shortlist
  • See the reasoning behind every score, not just a number
  • Spend your time interviewing, not sorting PDFs

Frequently asked questions

Is the bulk resume screening free?

Yes. You can screen up to 5 resumes against one job description for free, with no account or credit card. Each resume gets a match score and a strengths-and-gaps breakdown. To screen larger batches, you create a free account that includes free monthly credits.

How does bulk resume screening work?

You upload a set of resumes and paste one job description. Rankid parses each resume, extracts the real skills and experience, scores every candidate against that job, and returns them ranked from best to worst fit, with the reasoning behind each score.

How does it rank candidates?

Every resume is scored 0 to 100 on the same criteria: coverage of the job's required and preferred skills, how well the candidate's actual experience fits the requirements, and keyword overlap. Candidates are then sorted by that score so the strongest matches rise to the top.

How many resumes can I screen at once?

The free trial screens up to 5 resumes per browser. With a free account you can screen up to 200 resumes in a single batch, including whole-folder uploads, and export the ranked shortlist to CSV.

Is automated screening fair and explainable?

Rankid uses a deterministic, explainable engine rather than a black-box model. Every score comes with the matched skills, missing requirements, and experience reasoning, so you can see exactly why a candidate ranked where they did and make the final call yourself.
